Over the recent years, our company continues its growth as Spain's main valve manufacturer and a key player in the Western European scene. ECONTROL has steadily stregthned its operations beyond the European borders, mainly in the G.C.C. and the Caspian belt region where our company is becoming a critical partner for ongoing oil & gas projects. Our engineering teams are permanently deployed at our representative offices in Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Dammam and Doha in connection with our head office in Spain due to the large volume of the projects in this region these days.

Tecnologías ECONTROL S.L. (formerly Válvulas K-UVE S.L.), was officially established in 1995 in Barcelona (Spain) taking advantage of 35 years of continuous technological research, experience and evolution of the three valve engineers that became the original founders.

The company began as a small control valve workshop for service operations in local petro-chemical industry and has steadily grown ever since having currently a completely patented control valve and actuator manufacturing range which exported to over 50 countries worldwide, from Canada to Singapore.

A wide experience in developing specific solutions for an enormous diversity of exigencies has gradually provided a great capacity and competitiveness to our whole crew regardless of whether directly applying our technology or working for major projects.

Today ECONTROL is a first class international company, qualified by major customers and proudly partnering critical construction projects in all types of process industry.

ECONTROL currently operates from the Constantí Production Complex located 92Km. South of Barcelona, Spain where its head office and main production facilities are located:

- Module 1: Head Management, Operations Management, Valve Engineering Unit (V.E.U.), Project Department, Research + Development + Implementation Center (R+D+I), QA/QC Management, Training Center, Pattern Storage. Total: 1.450 sq. m.

- Module 2: Incoming Parts Control, Machining Facilities, Assembly Bays, Welding Areas, Drilling and Milling, Intermediate Pressure Testing Areas. Total: 900 sq. m.

- Module 3: Incoming Parts Control, 3D Dimensional Check, PMI Laboratory, Final Assembly, Final Testing Areas, Gas Testing Areas, Immersion Testing Areas, Instrument Integration, Packing and Preservation Areas, Logistics. Total: 1.700 sq.m.

Design and manufacture of all types of industrial valves:
• Whole cycle of exclusive design, production and complete assistance in worldwide distribution through ECONTROL's commercial network.

• Independent valve automation division to engineer and design all types of valve actuators either for ECONTROL brand valves or other manufacturer's.
• Pneumatic, hydraulic, pneumo-hydraulic, electric actuators are offered.
• Assembled, calibrated, tested and certified by ECONTROL specialists.
• Worldwide technical support service.
• CE compliant and in strict accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, API 6D, API 600,... for all processes.

Process control engineering and valve engineering unit (V.E.U.)
• Development of valve sizing software and process control software.
• Consultancy services for contractors and engineering companies.

ECONTROL maintenance program:
• On-Site periodic revisions, adjust and calibration of any kind or valve type.
• Complete and experienced team of engineers and workers available for specific In-Plant repair, maintenance and assistance.
• Design and application of technical support and maintenance programs in strict accordance with customer needs and preferences to avoid any kind of disturb to the plant production.

The strength of expertise
ECONTROL has successfully served all types of process customers worldwide. Reference list covers oil & gas (production and drilling, pipeline valves for crude oil and natural gas, offshore, geothermal processes, refining, abrasive and corrosive duty, high temperatures or cryogenic...) and all kinds of process engineering such as water treatment and water desalinization, thermal power engineering, nuclear power engineering, pharmaceutical industries, aeronautical (aircraft engine testing for several airlines).

As a result, ECONTROL engineers have developed hundreds of designs covering from micro-flow diameters to large valves and high torque actuators.

ECONTROL's V.E.U. (Valve Engineering Unit) engineers perform also constant research on new materials to optimize life expectancy of our products.

Throughout the years, our company has developed two makes, the first, ECONTROL and the younger KVS have satisfactorily served the chemical and petrochemical industry, the water treatment and desalinization industry, refineries and many other kinds of specific industrial applications in a wide range of fields.
